Connectors are made of nylon material for its combination of temperature resistance and flexibility. They have been tested to withstand temperatures from -40° to 125° Centigrade. Positive locks produce an audible click when the connector halves are completely joined and may be released by hand to disconnect. Hinged secondary locks aid terminal retention and provide access to the terminals for ease of serviceability.
